Steve Reich has been awarded with the 2009 Pulitzer Prize in Music for his most recent music. During the next week, CCB in Lisbon hosts two of the most distinguished Portuguese percussion ambassadors: the Drumming - celebrating their 10th anniversary - and Pedro Carneiro, proposing a percussion marathon. Taking these two inputs we will broadcast tonight, 10-12pm at RUC, 107.9FM Coimbra, excerpts of two major Reich's works : Drumming and City Life .
