"Fail Gracefully" is the subject of a main panel at Offf 2009, leaded by Florian Schmitt from Hi-Res! and Mushon Zer-Aviv from Shual . With Aaron Koblin, Alva Noto, Joshua Davis, PES and Stefan Sagmeister. From the panel manifesto: "Failing gracefully is a state of mind, an approach to progress in the creative process. We fail, we freak out, we get over it. We fail, and then use failure as an invitation to participate. We allow for distributed failure, and succeed together despite that. We fail, as to not get too comfortable in our success, to challenge our own process and the use of our tools. We fail, we get praised for it, we try again. We fail, we realize it, we recheck our agency, our networks, our intentions. We fail (gracefully), and so should you."

Alva Noto a.k.a. carsten nicolai will be in Oeiras together with most of the raster-noton 's artists playing live, including Byetone,Frank Bretschneider, SND, Signal, Atom™, COH, Pixel, Pomassl, Kangding Ray, Nibo and Senking. Fennesz and Vladislav Delay will join the team for the Loopita room schedule .

Sonic Youth will have a new studio album next June. We take this as a catalyzer to get immersed into a flood of electric guitar drones. Or to feel happy again with some acoustic tones. Even if they have to be complemented by some electronics. From Vienna, we have recently discovered an amazing low frequency orchestra. And noticed that people from Raster-Noton will be in Lisbon for the OFFF festival. That will be in May. For the next weekend John Zorn will perform in Porto and Portalegre.
