Morreu Robert Rauschenberg

Se para John Cage, estar numa paragem de autocarro era como estar numa sala de concertos, para Robert Rauschenberg, um prato de sopa ou uma garrafa de coca-cola eram objectos tão interessantes como qualquer outra obra escultórica.

Rauschenberg visitou o Porto em Outubro passado para inaugurar a sua retrospectiva em Serralves já bastante doente. Faleceu aos 82 anos na passada Segunda Feira, 12 de Maio.

Re-inventou permanentemete a sua obra e eliminou constantemente fronteiras entre diferentes disciplinas artisticas. Experimentalista americano, Bob Rauschenberg foi pintor, fotógrafo, coreógrafo, designer, performer e até compositor. Para Jasper Johns, nenhum artista americano inventou mais do que Rauschenberg.

New Order - Video 5-8-6 [Extended 22:23 version]

“Video 5 8 6” is a song originally composed as “pap” (as Tony Wilson put it) for the opening night of the Haçienda on May 21, 1982. Parts of this pearl would become the basis for the Power, Corruption & Lies tracks “5 8 6” and “Ultraviolence”, as well as the associated 12-inch single “Blue Monday”.
