Pina Bausch, 1940-2009

The Guardian : "This morning, 30 June, Pina Bausch died, aged 68 – quickly, after a cancer diagnosis five days ago. Only two Sundays ago, she appeared on stage at the Wuppertaler Opernhaus. Happy Birthday Mr. Igor Stravinsky

Igor Fyodorovich Stravinsky was born 127 years ago, June 17th 1882. The Russian-born composer was one of the most influential composers of 20th century music. On the next short video we have one of those rare opportunities to see the composer at the age of 82 conducting one of his masterpieces: Firebird. Long live to Mr. Igor Stravinsky
